The problem

When the decision needs more than a rough estimate

You may be considering an investment, reviewing an underperforming part of the business or trying to understand why the results are different from your expectations.

From budgeting and cash-flow planning to business improvement and growth decisions, the work begins with the question you need to answer.

Consulting creates space to examine the information, test the assumptions and weigh the options before committing to a direction.

What we examine

Focused analysis and practical guidance

Start with the question. Each row pairs it with the information we review and the options we can then discuss.

01

Planning an investment?

We review

The analysis needed before a major purchase, expansion or other business investment.

We discuss

The financial assumptions, evaluated alongside the objectives of the business.

02

Reviewing cash requirements?

We review

Expected revenue, costs and cash requirements, and how changing assumptions could affect the plan.

We discuss

A budget or forecast that gives you a more useful view of what is ahead.

03

Trying to understand performance?

We review

The information behind the results and the questions that need attention.

We discuss

The financial implications of different responses, and practical areas for improvement in an operation or process.

The right level of support

Consulting or ongoing financial leadership?

Business consulting may be appropriate when you have a defined question, decision or improvement project.

For continuing financial oversight, management reporting and regular support with decisions, our CFO & Controller Services may be the better starting point. We can discuss the level of involvement you need rather than assume a larger engagement is necessary.

Getting started

Tell us about the decision you're facing

Tell us what you are considering, what prompted the question and what information you have. We’ll discuss the analysis that could help and agree on the work involved.

A short description of the decision is enough to start. Please don’t include financial documents in the form.
